UNTIL — memory with an expiry
A product that gives temporary information a lifespan while keeping control in the user’s hands.
- Type
- Independent project
- Period
- Ongoing

The project
UNTIL begins with an everyday insight: not everything you save should become an archive. Some information is useful only until a particular moment.
The product turns that idea into a local, offline experience with clear expiry, limited recovery and quick capture from across iOS.
From challenge to outcome
The decisions that shaped the work.
- 01
Challenge
Manage different content types for a limited time without creating another permanent archive or promising behaviour iOS cannot guarantee.
- 02
Approach
Logical expiry independent of background execution, 24-hour recovery, protected containers and no account or proprietary backend.
- 03
Outcome
A coherent iPhone app with extensions, widgets, local privacy and a dedicated verification suite.

UNTIL brings together what only matters for a while: parking, Wi‑Fi, tickets, receipts and small pieces of everyday information.

An everyday gesture: save where you parked while the information is useful, without leaving it in your camera roll forever.
