1. Applicability
These terms apply to BEFORE only when a distributed build expressly incorporates them. The “in development” status and the public product page do not mean that the app is available in the store.
2. Purpose and limits
BEFORE is a contextual, one-time reminder associated with the next opening of a selected app. It is not an alarm, medical device, guaranteed parental-control tool, safety system or service suitable for critical deadlines. Do not use it where a missed display could cause harm.
3. iOS dependencies
Operation requires Screen Time authorisation, Family Controls and Managed Settings. Permissions, tokens, shields, widgets and actions depend on the operating system and Apple entitlements. The public .defer response does not guarantee that the selected app will open automatically; another tap may be required. Permission revocation, updates or removal of the target app may require it to be selected again.
4. Content and recovery
The user is responsible for the reminder text and must not use the product for unlawful content or unnecessary third-party data. A consumed reminder may be recovered within the documented 24-hour window; after that limit it must not be considered available.
5. Support and mandatory rights
Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis without an SLA. The licence made applicable through the distribution channel and any BEFORE addendum expressly incorporated by the distributed build also apply. Mandatory legal and consumer rights remain unaffected.
