1. Scope
This notice applies to the BEFORE iPhone app and is based on the repository review recorded in the product page. The controller is Davide Mori; privacy contact: privacy@relaunchlab.it.
2. Data in the app
BEFORE locally retains the reminder text, the opaque token returned by Family Controls for the selected app, dates, lifecycle state and interface preferences. It does not receive the selected app’s real name, content, messages, transactions, photographs, usage history or statistics.
There is no backend, account, login, advertising, analytics, tracking or external API. No app data are sent to the controller. The bundle privacy manifests declare tracking disabled and no data collection.
3. Family Controls and safeguards
The application token is provided by iOS and remains in the protected containers of the app and App Group. Redundant snapshots, checkpoints without text or tokens, atomic writes and integrity checks help maintain a manageable state. When the state cannot be trusted, the documented behaviour prioritises removing the shields.
4. Retention and deletion
Active reminders remain until they are consumed or removed. Recoverable reminders are no longer accessible more than 24 hours after shownAt and are pruned during the next read or write. Preferences and local state remain until reset. “Delete all data” removes snapshots, checkpoints, mirrors, preferences and shields. The documented directories are excluded from system backups.
5. Support and platform
A support request submitted through the website is governed by the website privacy notice. Apple independently processes the data necessary for Family Controls, the App Store and platform services under its own terms. BEFORE does not convert the opaque token into information about the user’s identity or behaviour.
6. Rights and updates
The controller cannot access local reminders or extract them remotely. The user manages and deletes them on the device. Rights relating to data submitted through the website are described in the website privacy notice. New functions, dependencies or transmissions require a new assessment and version.
